Meanwhile At the Factory
There may not be any action at the track for a few weeks, but the off-season is still a very busy time for the teams.
Not only are the cars being developed, built, and prepped for the new season but so is every single piece of equipment used by the teams as the year goes by. At the same time that the team is machining out engine and body components they're also designing and building everything from their pit garages down to the jacks used during pit stops, and all of it needs to be prepped and packed up for the start of testing and eventually for the long trip down to Melbourne for the start of the season.
